Description
This oil painting, by Jim Tait, is 24 x 24 inches in size, plus the frame. It is on canvas.
It features Conzie Castle, also known as Bognie House, a ruined four storey tower, which originally had turrets at all four corners. It was built by a George Morrison in the latter part of the 1600s, no-one knows exactly why, and also why it was probably never completed, possibly never floored or roofed. it stands, a spectacular ruin, in a field next to the main road, a few miles north of Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
