About this years fair
This year’s Clickimin Craft Fair is being co-ordinated by the Committee.
The event is open to the Public on Friday 8th (7-9pm), Saturday 9th (10am-6pm) and Sunday 10th (11am-5pm) November. Anyone may exhibit providing they have paid their annual membership fee, are living and working in Shetland and the art/craft item has been made or designed by themselves.
If it is your first time at the fair then it is well worth browsing through some of our photos on our Facebook page of previous years to get a flavour for the event.
Stands
We have three stand sizes to choose from this year. Stands shall be given out on a first come first served basis, as there is always a high demand for spaces please ensure you return your registration form as soon as possible.
Exhibitors may not specify stand positions, so please do not ask!
Each stand can be provided with power points, if extension leads are needed please bring your own (all electrical items must be PAT tested). Tables (approx 2m x 1m) will be charged at £2 each, chairs will be provided free of charge, please specify your requirements on the booking page. You may also bring your own tables, chairs, shelving etc. and many people choose to design and build their entire stand.
Sharing Stands
You may wish to share a stand with another member. This is usually acceptable, as long as both exhibitors are members but please contact us before booking to confirm. Only one member needs to book the stand.
Screens
Due to their increasingly tatty appearance, plus the chronic shortage, we have decided we won’t be offering screens again this year. Exhibitors are welcome to hire screens themselves from Islesburgh, though we would strongly suggest you make or buy your own display equipment. Please remember that stall spaces in the middle of the floor do not have dividers/screens, keep this in mind if you need wall space for display, stall spaces around the outside of the hall will have some wall space but this is solid brick and nails, picture hooks, pins etc cannot be used.
What Happens Next?
As stands are allocated on a first come first served basis, we will send you a confirmation email once we have checked that your stand can be accommodated. We will do our best to accommodate all stands of course, but we need to manually calculate the number of stands at the different sizes, so please bare with us.
At the end of October, exhibitor packs will be sent out to you containing all the information you will need for the craft fair.
