This painting is inspired by a plane trip I was on recently over Shetland.
This painting was created using acrylic paint on wood board and has a handmade white tray frame measuring 54 x 54 x 3 cms, signed and ready to hang. It is sealed with satin varnish.

Sarah Kay Arts is a Shetland based company, created by Sarah Kay. The Shetland-born artist creates original artwork and jewellery, inspired by the beaches of her home island. All pieces are designed and hand made in her Shetland studio using mixed media – alcohol inks, shimmering mica and super glossy resin. Each visit to the beach collecting treasures also includes a beach clean of rubbish! But yourself or a friend an original piece of art and help clean up the beach simultaneously!
