Living in the Shetland Islands I love to collect beach finds and use them in my artwork.
The washing line design uses Sea glass, sea pottery, driftwood sticks and a re-cycled necklace chain. The background is hand painted making each picture original, they are framed, signed and ready to hang or stand.
This one has an extra wide frame and comes in a presentation gift box.

Sarah Kay Arts is a Shetland based company, created by Sarah Kay. The Shetland-born artist creates original artwork and jewellery, inspired by the beaches of her home island. All pieces are designed and hand made in her Shetland studio using mixed media – alcohol inks, shimmering mica and super glossy resin. Each visit to the beach collecting treasures also includes a beach clean of rubbish! But yourself or a friend an original piece of art and help clean up the beach simultaneously!
