It features Jim Tait’s oil painting of the “St.Clair”, the third “nort boat” to bear that name. She was the last “side-loader” on the run, built at Ardrossan in 1960 for the Lerwick – Aberdeen route, which she did until replaced by the first ro-ro ferries in 1977.
